Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:
for the cake:
• 3 bananas
• 1 1/2 cups of flour
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 3 3/4 tablespoons of brown sugar
• 1/4 cup of butter
• 12 cl of cream
• 1/2 sachet of baking powder
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup of chopped nuts
• salt
for the icing
• 6 tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 cup of cream cheese
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 1/4 cup of chopped nuts
PREPARATION:
• Preparation of the cake:
• First, heat your oven to 180° and butter a cake tin.
• Then peel and mash the bananas with a fork, add the butter and mash it.
• Then add the cream with the sugar and brown sugar and mix it all together.
• Add the vanilla, chopped nuts, and the egg and continue mixing.
• Mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl and add gradually while mixing.
• Pour your batter into the pan and then bake for 25-30 minutes.
• Prepare the icing:
• First, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
• Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.
• In a bowl, whip both butter and cream cheese using a mixer to make a light and fluffy mixture, Then add the vanilla and sugar in batches while whisking.
• When the cake is done baking, spread a layer of your frosting on top and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
Finally, here is your banana nut cake with icing, cut and serve…bon appétit.
